Boyd, Wow, I read your book in 1 day, then I had my 19 year old daughter read it, then my husband read it. We were all so touched and blessed by your witness. God calls each of us to go and be fishers of men, and your obedience inspires each and everyone of us who want to give up.God is to receive all the glory in all we do and in your book He did. Thank you and God Bless you and your family ! Vicki Blazek Ennis, Texas

My wife and I enjoyed hearing your songs and the Grace-filled witness that you shared. You have always amazed me with your strength and dedication toward helping others. Life can deal us unfair challenges and tragedy. Upon hearing your witness and unbending faith in Our Lord Jesus I was reminded of Job.
You have done well!!

I read your book tonight, three hours of tears, assurance, and revelations -- God loves you Boyd Chisum!
Amazing story - thank you for the part about Keith, Jack's transformation, the high school teacher, Nena, Roy Dale (I know him), the story of your son's laughter, his singing with you, your journey. And yes, I'm still crying -- May God bless you...and keep the star shining brightly for others to see Christ in your music.

Boyd,
I just back from Atlanta today. I read your book on the way there and back. It took about 6 hours. Just wanted to let you know what I thought.
I felt like you were sitting in my living room and you were just chatting with us. You opened up a window in your life and just let me peek in and see how things were and now are I would imagine. I felt your pains of surgery and joys of healing, your passion for Jesus and your family. You say many times that you are now changed and you will never be the same, I feel just a little of that in the respect that I am blessed to have shared these last few hours reading your story and now I will not be the same either. Your story is being passed on to my friend tomorrow who I know needs to read those words and understand the amazing mercy of Jesus and the mighty Victory of His unfathomable and faithful love.
I'm a better person for meeting you.
God Bless You and Your dear family!

In thirty-nine years as a Baptist pastor, I've seen lots of evangelists, counselors, artists, entertainers, etc., in churches. Some have blessed my life and my church while others have left me wishing I was some place else. I've had them all from unknown locals to Gaither Homecoming regulars (these are great). But recently we were blessed to have William Boyd Chisum for the first time. I'll assure you it's not the last!
Everything about Boyd-personality, talent, and mostly his Godly Spirit-will cause your people to laugh, cry, be challenged, encouraged and inspired. But more importantly, Boyd Chisum will bring your people into the presence of God with all these things.
Boyd's story "Chasing The Wind" should be read by EVERYONE.
I thank God for William Boyd Chisum, and I thank Boyd for his submissive spirit before God. Any pastor will do his people a favor by having William Boyd Chisum share his music and testimony with the church.

From an early age, it is apparrent that Boyd is not about to be beaten. Boyds book will take you on a trip through his life, his highs, his lows, along the way introducing you to people who helped shape his life. This book will make you laugh, and on occasions you may even want to cry, but what you won't want to do is put the book down until you have finished it.
Thanks Boyd!

Boyd,
Your music is so inspiring to me each time I listen to it. There is a message in each song and you can just feel God's presence when you are listening to the songs. "The Storm Won't Last Forever" has become my saying to myself on a daily basis. Many thanks to you for sharing your love for Jesus with the world and reminding us that God Still Moves the Stones..
God Bless you and your family and keep singing his praises.
Your Friend in Christ,
Sheila Murdock
